Biography

Federico García Trujillo proposes a holistic project around the contemporary possibilities of painting and drawing.
His work is situated between the construction of thought and the formal investigation of materials, exploring territories that range from the history of painting, memory, documentary analysis or the synergies between art and music.

He is graduated in Fine Arts from the University of Barcelona, ​​where he studied the PRODART Master's Degree in Production and Artistic Research.

He has exhibited individually in the SAC of the Government of the Canary Islands and in La Capella in Barcelona.

He has participated in numerous group exhibitions, among which are: Crisis ?, What Crisis? Chapter 2 (TEA Tenerife), Secuencia Editorial (La Panera, Lleida) or Aparteu les cadires (Can Felipa Visual Arts, Barcelona). He was also selected to participate in the Biennial of Contemporary Art - Young European Creation, an exhibition that has been in several European countries.

He currently works in his workshop in Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Canary Islands, Spain.
